Waiting room vibes at the doctor’s office be like:
“Why is my doctor always late?”
“Why are they so slow!”
“Why do they expect me to be on time but make me wait!”
And then, the exam room vibes be like:
“When is the damn doctor coming in?”
“Why am I waiting again!”
“Why is the doctor always rushing out? I didn’t get my full hour with the doctor!”

Note: This list pertains to outpatient primary care doctors who are employed by big healthcare systems, and my personal experience working in them.

Your PCP appointment is slotted for 20 minutes. Except it’s not 20 minutes.
One late patient or one complicated patient is enough to fuck up your doctor’s entire schedule.
You can bring a list of all your issues, but don’t expect your doctor to address them all.
The “Free Annual Physicals” are not meant to address 12 problems either.
Your PCP may be forced to carry a panel size as enormous as 2700 patients, or more.
The appointment line will never tell you when you’re being double-booked.
Your co-pay exists to deter you from booking frequent appointments, not to pay your doctor.
“Free unlimited portal messaging” is just a marketing tactic to get your business.
Doctor pay is not the reason why healthcare is so fucking expensive.
